Tests, Samples and Results

From time to time it may be necessary for you to undergo some clinical tests such as having a blood test or an x-ray.

If you have undergone a clinical test arranged by the Practice you should obtain your results by accessing your on-line medical record.

It is your responsibility to check your results have been received.

We will only contact you if your results require 'urgent' medical involvement.

If you need to discuss any aspect of your result you can submit an eConsult request.  All you need to do is complete the quick online form 'Contact Your Doctor Online', which you can find on the home page of this website.

Alternatively, if you cannot access on-line services you should contact the Practice by telephone between the hours of 11am and 12am or between the hours of 2pm and 4pm and a member of our reception team will be able to assist you with your query.  Ringing at these times avoids our busy periods.

We recommend that you give it at least five working days before checking that your results have been received by the Practice.  This is because the laboratory your sample was sent to may need this length of time to process your sample and get the result back to us.
