Last Updated: Monday, 02 September 2024Ford Medical Practice has offered General Medical Services to the local area since the early nineteen sixties.
The Practice moved from Kirkstone Road West to its current site in the nineteen seventies and has been structurally developed in to a very modern GP Practice.
The Practice offers a wide range of general medical services to all its Patients who reside in Litherland, Netherton, Seaforth and Crosby.
The Practice is a training Practice which means that each year we welcome to our team trainee doctors. We have been a training Practice for a number of years now and pride ourselves in providing a modern and fully equipped building as well as an excellent knowledge of General Practice life.
We are a member Practice of South Sefton Clinical Commissioning Group (SSCCG) and are located in the Seaforth & Litherland locality of South Sefton.
Clinicians
Dr Graham Sharrock (He/Him) MRCGP BMBS (Nottingham, 2011) MPharm PGDip. Senior Partner. GMC No: 7155930.GP at the practice since 2016. Leads on Child Health. As well as GP his Foundation and GP Specialty training included jobs within the following: Acute, Elderly, General and Cardiac Medicine, Orthopaedic and General surgery, General Paediatrics, Community and General Psychiatry, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Critical Care. Dr Sharrock also worked up to the level of a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist (last posting in Renal Medicine) before retraining as a doctor. He also works for the University of Liverpool teaching for the School of Medicine one day each week.
Dr Rachel Jacks (She/Her) MRCGP (2020), MBCHB (Liverpool, 2014), DRCOG, DFSRH, GP Partner. GMC: 7459472. GP at the Practice since 2020. As well as GP her Foundation and GP specialty jobs included Cardiology and General Medicine, General Surgery, Children and Adult emergency medicine, Sexual Health and Genito-Urinary Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Elderly and Stroke Medicine.
Dr Olayinka Moss (She/Her) MRCGP (2018) MBChB (Liverpool, 2012). GMC 7274482. New GP to the practice from May 2024. As well as GP her Foundation and GP Speciality training jobs included Colorectal surgery, Orthopaedics, Urology, Elderly medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Acute Medicine, Paediatrics, Paediatric Accident & Emergency, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Psychiatry. Dr Moss has also completed training in joint injections.

Ruth Clare (female) BSc Nursing , BSc (Hons) Community Heath Studies /Specialist General Practice Nursing, Independent Nurse Prescriber. 25 years experience of working in GP practices. Experience within Chronic Disease Management and Family Planning Trained.
